How it works

From first enquiry to qualified Pilates teacher.

The course runs over 6 months for Matwork, and a further 3 months for Reformer. We're flexible — you can pause and take time to practise teaching matwork before joining the Reformer course.

  1. Enquire

    A short call

    Tell us which course you're interested in. We arrange a short call to understand your background and answer your questions.

  2. Enrol

    1 week

    If it's a good fit, you confirm your place on the next cohort and we send your welcome pack.

  3. Onboard

    Day one

    You get access to the online learning platform, your course manuals and the full schedule of practical workshops.

  4. Online learning

    Around your life

    Work through the theory online, at your own pace — anatomy, biomechanics, the original Contrology repertoire, observation and planning.

  5. Practical workshops

    In studio · Poole

    Face-to-face workshops at our studios in Poole. Real apparatus, real teaching, real correction — in small groups.

  6. Teaching practice

    Mentored

    Supervised teaching with peer and tutor feedback, plus observation hours in live studio classes.

  7. Assessment

    1 weekend

    A theory exam, a practical teaching assessment and a portfolio. Dawn supports you through every step.

  8. Qualify

    Certificate to follow

    You leave with an internationally recognised Level 3 Pilates qualification and the confidence to step into a class.
